This experience, entitled "Walk with Aperitif and Concert," is designed to offer a basic introduction to the historic center, with a stop for an aperitif and a concert in the most evocative locations of the FloreFestival.
The walk, lasting about an hour, winds between Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, approaching the Arno River area, and ends right at the museum where the concert will take place. This short tour, not intended to be exhaustive, is evocative: a way to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Florentine evenings, allowing the music and the concert venues to take center stage.
The FloreFestival, scheduled for June 4-29, 2026, with events also in September, stands out for its choice of venues, all of great historical and artistic value. Among these, the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation, the celebrated director of "Jesus of Nazareth," which hosts the concerts on June 5, 12, and 27, represents a hub for musical and theatrical culture. The Teatro Nazionale, the venue for the events on June 10 and 16, welcomes audiences to a contemporary stage space right next to the home of Dante Alighieri, the poet of the Divine Comedy.
On June 11, the concert takes place at Orsanmichele, a unique venue for its atmosphere and history, the church/granary of the medieval Arts and Corporations. On June 13 and 22, the Galleria dell'Accademia will provide the backdrop, allowing for a direct dialogue between music and artistic masterpieces: Michelangelo's celebrated David! On June 19, the concert will take place in the courtyard of the Bargello National Museum, an open-air space of great charm since 1255, the year of its construction!
The heart of the festival is the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, which hosts numerous concerts on the dates of June 15, 17, 21, 23, 25, and 29, as well as September 11. Here, in the courtyard, music finds a particularly intense and engaging dimension.
At the end of the walk, after refreshing ourselves with an Italian aperitif and some appetizers, the experience continues directly to the concert venue. Different locations vary depending on the evening, all iconic and ideal for preparing for the concert and sharing the festival atmosphere.
