This guided tour will have the perfect speed: your own! It will take you up a steep hill called Rampe del Poggi in the Oltrarno to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you will get a breathtaking view of Florence. Piazzale Michelangelo was built in the 19th century by the architect Giuseppe Poggi as a monument to the most important sculptor of that time. You'll see some copies of his work - including a David - when you reach the summit. You will also visit the Romanesque church of San Miniato al Monte, one of the jewel-churches on the hills of Florence.
