Starting from Piazza Duomo, we will pass through the streets of the historic center visiting the places of greatest interest:
Santa Maria del Fiore (our Cathedral), Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and many more sites.
Thanks to this visit, you will have the opportunity to experience the Florence that we Florentines know and love, because a city is not only its historical-artistic point of view, but also its traditions, cuisine and everyday life.
We will cross the historic center and stop in the medieval streets of Dante, and you will taste the famous lampredotto, a dish loved by the Florentines.
Lampredotto is a dish of the Florentine tradition which has as a base of the stomach of cattle, it is a MUST try Florence cuisine while you are here.
You will hear the legends about typical dishes in relation to the history of the construction of the famous Brunelleschi dome, closely connected to the history of the city of Giglio.
Piazza del Duomo becomes a starting point to move on to more sophisticated and less tourist circuits, visiting the wine shops where you will enjoy a glass of excellent wine with finocchiona and crostini. You will be told the story of the Tuscan gastronomic events as well.
After the savory, the ice cream cannot be missed in Florence! Together with our guide you will stop in one of the historic ice cream parlors in the center and taste the real Florentine artisan ice cream.
HISTORY WILL TELL THE TALE, BUT WE DO NOT WANT TO REVEAL YOU TOO MUCH...
